Volume 3 Two Marches in the Hungarian Style and several late works for piano

This edition contains the only complete version of Liszt’s Two Marches in the Hungarian Style - noble pieces of great spirit. The other works in the volume come from the visionary old Liszt: elegiac pieces, folk-song arrangements, a Bartókian Csárdás and a truly bizarre nocturne describing the torment of insomnia and its resolution. The volume was first published in the 1950s, but now is reissued with a number of exciting additions from original Liszt manuscripts. The whole volume has been scrupulously revised with reference to be best manuscript and published sources to produce an accurate Urtext.
